A double concert by Amy Antin and Phil Young in a relaxed living room concert atmosphere. AMY ANTIN, a native New Yorker with a doctorate in literature and painting, who now lives in Germany after living in Brazil and France, has become a Cologne institution and has been part of the cathedral city's musical elite for a good twenty years. Her language is rich in imagery, but never overloaded - she effortlessly combines poetry and everyday language. On this occasion, she will perform her original songs and at the same time present a number of her more recent works of art. Cologne-based singer-songwriter Phil Young also presents genuine emotions and a large portion of authenticity in his pieces. Lyrics about lovesickness join memories of past moments of happiness and sadness and offer an insight into the inner workings of a musician who not only captivates with his piano and guitar, but also reaches the listener directly with his soulful voice.
