In the organizer's words:
The exhibition brings together eleven artistic perspectives that explore the themes of family and connection.
The title*An das wir uns festhalten / Nothing As Our Ground*refers to the reality of queer and migrant experiences. Relationships often emerge where there are neither social structures nor political safeguards to provide a stable foundation.
Photographs, videos, and installations show the diverse and contradictory ways people live across generations, across borders, and beyond traditional notions of family. They make it clear that family is not fixed but is constantly being renegotiated.
