Ana Lua Caiano: Tradition and innovation.

Portuguese artist Ana Lua Caiano explores the musical fusion of traditional Portuguese music and modern electronica by combining sounds from the past with synthesizers, beat machines and field recordings. With her music, she brings the traditional Portuguese heritage into the modern world. Following the release of her two EPs "Cheguei Tarde a Ontem" and "Se dançar é só depois", she was promptly named "Most Promising New Artist". Ana Lua Caiano is now on tour with her long-awaited debut album "Vou Ficar Neste Quadrado" and is of course also coming to the Gretchen.
