In their performance CONNECTION, Hamburg hip-hop dancers Anam and Ashley explore interpersonal relationships as a physically tangible process. The focus is not on the rigid ideal of a connection, but on how it arises in the moment: in direct contact, in mutual reaction, in the interplay of movement and encounter. The two dancers open our eyes to forms of relationships that unfold beyond fixed patterns - open, changeable and subjective. They question stereotypical attributions as well as social expectations and show how relationships are constantly being formed anew: through closeness and distance, impulse and resonance.
