Angelika Express - melody-loving indie punk, biting discourse pop and punchline-sure stage evenings with heart and attitude. The project around singer, guitarist and painter Robert Drakogiannakis has been at the heart of the German-speaking underground for over two decades. Currently with a particularly explosive line-up: bassist Annick adds striking harmony vocals to the aggressive pressure, while drum monster Tscherno irons down everything that is screwed down. October 2025 sees the release of the eleventh album VERZERRER: a loud, sharply drawn work about harsh feelings, filter bubbles and distorted perception - packaged in anthemic noise, walls of guitars and a painted Willy Brandt on the cover.
