The Anima Quintett is a young chamber music ensemble founded in 2025 at the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz (HfMT) in Cologne and consists of four saxophonists and a pianist. They come from Portugal, Spain, Slovenia, Taiwan and China. This cultural diversity shapes the ensemble's artistic identity and is reflected in its open, creative approach to music.

The focus of the collaboration is on musical exchange, individual expressiveness and the joint search for new sound spaces. With its programs, the Anima Quintet aims to push boundaries, create encounters and offer audiences surprising listening experiences.
