From pop starlet to acclaimed actress—that’s how young Mima envisions her career after leaving the girl group CHAM! But first, the aspiring actress must prove her mettle on the film set. After delivering just a few lines at a time, Mima is forced to film a rape scene—and to cement her image transformation, she does a nude photo shoot with a famous photographer. Not all of her fans are thrilled by this, and she even receives threatening letters. Online, the young woman stumbles upon her “diary,” which chronicles her daily life and reveals details that only she could know. Forced into a role that’s foreign to her, stalked, and following the brutal murder of her screenwriter, Mima increasingly loses her grip on reality. More and more often, she sees visions of another Mima—and the murders in her circle continue.
