Ryo Saeba, also known as City Hunter, is a private detective who fulfills all his clients' wishes. Together with his partner Kaori, Ryo fights his way through the shadows of Tokyo's underworld. When he is hired by the attractive Angie to find her lost cat, he gradually becomes entangled in a web of dark secrets surrounding a mysterious substance called Angel Dust and is forced to confront his own past.
CITY HUNTER THE MOVIE: ANGEL DUST looks back at the origins of the legendary hero of the manga series and the iconic TV series from the 80s and 90s. The film is directed by Kenji Kodama, who already directed the TV series, together with Kazuyoshi Takeuchi (involved in AKIRA, YOUR NAME., among others).
