In a housing estate in Sendai lives a quiet boy who is bullied by his peers. One day, a chance encounter with an exchange student leads him to follow in his father's footsteps and fulfill his dream of becoming famous. With a view to today's society, the film portrays the beautiful but also sad life of a person who unexpectedly achieves fame.
