The standard has risen everywhere, and a simple "You bastard!" is no longer enough.

You need the right words to the right address without offending bystanders, here is a positive example: "Good that you are there and not here". The translation of "stupid goose" as "handicapped fowl" is rather unfortunate

We are currently talking less and less to each other, but all the more intensively past each other:
In public authorities, insurance companies and savings banks, people no longer answer the phone; an artificial intelligence sits there and helps me think about what I might have asked.
On the other hand, employees at these institutions only call me when they need something: a contract, statistical information or because they have forgotten where their car is parked.

What has gone completely out of fashion is the quick resolution, the open-ended discussion and the amusing, bloodless exchange of blows.
