Anna Depenbusch

Anna Depenbusch is the epitome of a singer-songwriter. A singing poet who early on
created her own unmistakable style somewhere between Edith Piaf, Hildegard Knef and Björk. With
music, the Hamburg native tells stories full of emotion, poetry and liveliness. Her lyrics
are sometimes tender, sometimes eloquent, from deeply sad to hilarious.
Anna Depenbusch writes, composes and produces authentic, approachable songs. Meanwhile
she has five studio albums and two solo albums to her name. Tours from the Elbphilharmonie to the
Prinzregententheater are behind her. She has received numerous awards, including the Fred Jay Prize
and the German Chanson Prize, two nominations for the German Music Writer's Prize. An
end is far from in sight.
Now the versatile chansonière is back with a new studio album, a new program and a new live cast.
