What doesn't happen on a crazy sleepless night? Marie, the main character in Anna Schäfer's new and brilliant solo, knows the problem. Like many people, she sleeps badly because she can't stop her thoughts. As a result, all her strange and highly comical ideas that she has always wanted to tell her friends, enemies and the whole world pop up regularly during the night.

In a fast-paced, very funny, but also touching and musical monologue, Anna Schäfer aims straight for the heart of our times. She plays, sings and whirls through the big issues that affect her and us. She changes into high-speed figures and characters and creates a contemporary, fantastic and satirical portrait of our country and its inhabitants. Personal, political, pointed and with wild playfulness. A fast-paced journey between theater, cabaret, comedy and storytelling.

Anna Schäfer is supported for this program by playwright and Grimme Award winner Dietmar Jacobs (Stromberg, Mord mit Aussicht, Extra 3, Heute Show, Kom(m)ödchen Düsseldorf).

Also by director Hans Holzbecher (award-winning satirical director, mainly for Kom(m)ödchen Düsseldorf since 2006, as well as productions for theaters and musicals such as West Side Story, Jekyll & Hyde etc.).
