In the organizer's words:

London 2022: The Queen is dead! Running past the mourners is Durga, an international screenwriter, daughter of an Indian and a German - full of an appetite for rebellion and hallucinations. She is to take part in an anti-racist film adaptation of the Agatha Christie detective stories. Detective Hercule Poirot, a black man? There is resistance to this: demonstrations are held in front of the film company building against the supposed eradication of British culture.

Completely unexpectedly, Durga slips through time and ends up in 1906, not as herself, but as the man and freedom fighter Sanjeev. In London's "Indian House", Sanjeev meets revolutionaries who, unlike Gandhi, are fighting violently against the British Empire.

Durga keeps jumping back and forth between the times, making visible what we otherwise don't see: the invisible colonial history in pop culture. What would real resistance be in a fake world? And what about a mysterious assassination attempt that only the famous detective Sherlock Holmes can help solve?
