Aperitif-Konzert #1: Hanna Peng & Philipp Ullrich // Das ganz feine Besteck

Two solo artists, two acoustic gigs, two good glasses of wine - and something delicious on your fork! That's the concept behind the aperitif concert series "Das ganz feine Besteck", which begins with Stadt-Land-Fluss. Sit back, enjoy and listen. Reservations are requested.

Hanna Peng from Munich kicks things off on stage with a suitcase full of songs from life, thoughtful, funny, sometimes-bitter-always-sweet. This will be followed by Phlipp Ullrich from Cologne and ex-Westerwald, about whom the portal for free art and culture in Cologne Qultor writes very aptly: "Philipp Ullrich's music is a remembrance - sometimes nostalgic, sometimes painful, in any case better than forgetting".

You will also be cooked for and fed by professional chef and food innovator David Nguan.

Afterwards, a traditional and truly magical raku firing will take place on the station forecourt, to which all guests and non-guests are cordially invited.

About Hanna Peng & Philipp Ullrich

With influences from soul, folk and bossa nova, Hanna Peng creates a magical combination of sound, rhythm of speech and poetry. Her songs tell of the quiet moments of everyday life, inner awakenings and the pulse of our time. With her distinctive voice, which is gentle and powerful at the same time, she has performed on the Open Steges stages in Munich in recent years. Now she is a guest (also as Anna's friend) from Munich at Stadt-Land-Fluss - and is delighted with the stage she has been given!

Philipp Ullrich is a musician and lives in Cologne. As a guitarist, he regularly plays with artists such as Jenny Thiele, Joshua Milo and Schlømer, but his secret passion is songwriting. Inspired by artists such as Paul McCartney, Madison Cunningham or Half Moon Run, he creates small and big melodies, personal insights and nostalgic narratives, always clothed in Ullrich's love of harmonic richness and sensitive arrangements. He has further developed the acoustic sound of his first self-produced CD "Chapter III" with the new singles "Wide Awake" and "Leather Jacket" and brings this and more to the stage, sometimes alone, sometimes together with the multi-talented pianist Joshua Behrends.
