April Twelves is an experimental duo featuring British violinist Alice Barron and Norwegian string wizard Ole Andre Farstad. Together they create original music for prepared sarods, violins, viola, slide guitar and electronics. They explore the colors, textures and resonances of encounters with classical Indian instruments through improvisation and exploration. April Twelves make slow music for an immersive and curious listening experience, and we recommend listeners to enjoy the concert lying down if possible.
