Watercolor painting has fascinated and inspired people for centuries. The fame and ubiquity of Maria Sibylla Merian and her beautiful flower still lifes and nature studies are testament to this. At present, simple flower paintings are once again an absolute trend.
In this block course, we will be enchanted by the beauty of flowers and plants and immerse ourselves in the world of watercolor painting. Using various flowers, plants and fruits of the season, we will train our eye for composition and proportions as well as arranging them to create a harmonious composition. We will learn how to prepare the paper, create a sketch and give the motif plasticity and depth by applying different layers of paint.
The course includes four dates, each Wednesday, June 5, June 12, June 19 and June 26 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm.
The course is suitable for beginners and advanced students and takes place with a minimum of 5 participants.
