Ulrich Müther's houses still look like they come from the future today; in reality, they come from the GDR. The experimental engineer from Binz conjured up elegant buildings made of concrete that stood out like butterflies among the prefabricated buildings. They gave form to the spirit of optimism in the 1960s, as the 2003 film by Margarete Fuchs impressively shows.
