ARGYLE, a Scottish musician with Indian roots, emigrated to Switzerland at the age of 18 with nothing but a guitar to make a lasting impact on the music scene there - the songs by this musician with an impressive voice captivate audiences with a take on modern folk and soulful, blues-inspired pop. His current EP "Playgrounds In Ruins" tells of the highs and lows of life, of inner struggles and the search for a place in the world. Now ARGYLE is coming to Germany for two exclusive shows with the "PLAYGROUNDS IN RUINS" TOUR 2026!

The artist gained his first experience as a street musician in the cities of Europe. His repertoire quickly led him into the studio; in 2022 ARGYLE released the debut EP "Waves" and secured numerous festival bookings such as the Openair St. Gallen, Gurtenfestival, Montreux Jazz Festival, Zermatt Unplugged, Zurich Openair and Moon and Stars. This was followed by co-ops and features with Swiss artists such as Stress, Chiara Castelli, Marius Bear and Remo Forrer ("Watergun"). ARGYLE also successfully demonstrated exceptional songwriting skills on the joint releases and quickly gained the attention of an ever-growing audience - not least because of the platinum-certified Eurovision hit "Watergun", which spent six weeks at the top of the Swiss Airplay charts and was nominated for a Swiss Music Award 2024.

While "Waves " described the turbulent waves in the young artist's life, ARGYLE'ssecond EP "Playgrounds in Ruins" ventures a look back into the Scotsman's childhood and provides musically and visually intimate insights into an area of Scotland characterized by neglect and hopelessness: The video for the lead single "Heal Me" shows ARGYLE'sperspective of his early years in the hometown of Ayr on the West Scottish coast, where the EP artwork was also created.
With "Playgrounds in Ruins", ARGYLE tells of childlike innocence in the midst of a world in decay, always aware that his own suffering is not just an individual experience, but a shared experience of all humanity.
Having matured as an artist and a human being, ARGYLE looks back and speaks poignantly in his songs about issues such as racism, power, consumerism and depression.

The Scotsman creates his own soundtrack for a life that knows pain as well as joy - ARGYLE authentically chisels his identity from the rough Scottish stone that has already produced Paolo Nutini and Lewis Capaldi.
