A separate treasure chamber has even been set up in a tower room for the treasures in the Army Museum. However, the items on display here are not loot, but things that are particularly valuable due to their rarity. A stalking rifle was used by Count Palatine Ottheinrich when hunting. The unique garment of a European soldier, found in Peru, from the 16th century is a testimony to the early, violent expansion of Europe into America.

At the center, however, is the so-called Passau armor from around 1350 - a forerunner of the later iron armor worn by European knights.
