Verità Baroque, an innovative collective of young musicians performing on period instruments, is one of the most charismatic ensembles on the international baroque music scene. Under the title "Solo contro tutti", they show how two forms of concerto were established in the Baroque era: solo and grosso. While Antonio Vivaldi was one of the figureheads of the solo concerto, Arcangelo Corelli was regarded as the grand master of the concerto grosso. Full of rousing enthusiasm, the ensemble brings to life why these two baroque ideas of the "concerto" (from the Latin "concerto"/competition and Italian "concertare"/cooperation) were groundbreaking innovations. In addition, the organ by Erasmus Bielfeldt, completed in 1734 and one of the most important historical instruments in northern Germany from Bach's time, will also be played: with the Pastorale, probably the best-known work by the Italian Baroque composer Domenico Zipoli.
