Artist Talk: Quiet resistances, soft turns

Charmaine Poh's first solo exhibition Make a travel deep of your inside, and don't forget me to take deals with time travel, power structures, ecology, care and resistance, among other things. How do these silent resistances manifest themselves in a time characterized by catastrophe and destruction? How can we reject or change dominant narratives through artistic strategies? The conversation will center around the art of storytelling, lost memories and different layers of time with a special focus on the central video work: The Moon is Wet.

The artist Charmaine Poh will talk to Jo-Lene, curator at esea contemporary, about these and other topics. The discussion will be moderated by Sarnt Utamachote, filmmaker and curator from Berlin.
