Artist Talk with Monty Richthofen at CUPRA City Garage Berlin

During Gallery Weekend Berlin, CUPRA opens its doors as a University of the Streets, offering access to the art world beyond traditional pathways. The evening creates a space for exchange, insight and new perspectives.

Join us for a conversation with Berlin-based artist Monty Richthofen and Dilan Baziany.

Ahead of Gallery Weekend Berlin, Monty Richthofen will offer an exclusive first look into his upcoming project HARD 2 4GET in collaboration with Dittrich & Schlechtriem. Known for merging poetry, performance and public intervention, his work challenges conventional ideas of where and how art can exist. How democratic is access to art? And are there strategies for opening it up further? For this exhibition, the city itself becomes the stage.

Expect a first glimpse into what's to come and a moment where the narrative around the project begins to unfold. After the talk, guests are invited to stay for drinks and further conversation. All guests are invited to visit the opening performance by Monty Richthofen at Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz (close to DITTRICH & SCHLECHTRIEM) on May 1, from 6 to 9 PM.
