Asche: The prehistory began back in 1982 in Leipzig-Lindenau's Duncker-
quarter... Four school friends decided to express their world view of 15/16-year-olds in angry lyrics and noisy sounds in the then inevitable D.I.Y. mode. Although none of them had ever heard "real" punk rock before (or maybe that's why!), they created exactly this sound on their self-made instruments. With ironic self-criticism, the quartet labeled themselves as 0815 in order to preemptively let the air out of their performance. This was followed by an inspired rehearsal room friendship that lasted more than three years, but was not to survive the beginning of the "serious side of professional life".

After 1989, the few recordings circulated first in tape trader circles and later on the Internet.

until 2018, when research into the Leipzig underground compilation
"Heldenstadt Anders" (on Truemmer Pogo) was able to reveal this secret. After that
It went from strength to strength: two of the four original musicians were up for it again, the line-up was completed and a set of all the songs from 1982/83/84 was rehearsed for the release concert. In August 2019, everything was recorded for an album in Mike Stolle's legendary "Studiobunker", and on September 13, 2019, the reinvented 0815 finally took to the stage of the UT Connewitz for the "Heldenstadt Anders" festival.
But a new end was unthinkable. Current topics had long since been
had long since been transformed into new songs and matured musical
musical preferences had led to a darker, deeper sound. The snotty teenage irony of the 80s no longer really matched the self-confidence they had gained. The search for a new self-description ended inevitably:

ASCHE is as concise as it is associative. The exploration of the multicolored grey
of this matter has become our business, and whoever likes it can let the phoenix greet them. The role models are all in our DNA, but mere imitation is boring.

Dark beats form the foundation for crows on wires songs. Floating, spherical sounds open up the room and a melodic, dreamy voice fills it with life. The room enchants with minimalism and is always sparsely lit. crows on wires prefer candlelight - allowing listeners to immerse themselves in their spiritual world and accompany them on their imaginary trip through light and darkness, through fears and longings.

Corny Loveboy is a self-therapeutic solo project. The debut album "Forever Sad" was recorded in a small room over the turn of the year 2024/25, with no intention of ever playing the songs live. And yet it's happening now. Honest, open and reduced to the bare essentials.
