On 𝟭𝟬.𝟬𝟰.𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗛ü𝗵𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗵𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗮𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝗛𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲 (𝗦𝗮𝗮𝗹𝗲) with 𝗔𝘀𝗵𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗲 experiences avant-garde jazz and metallic dissonance, while at the same time channeling the energy of hardcore into an overwhelming, deeply emotional outburst of political rage. We were able to secure two more top-class acts as supports, 𝗠𝗮𝗰𝗵𝘂𝗸𝗵𝗮 and 𝗪𝗲𝗹𝗸, who will accompany the evening with their intense art.

𝗔𝘀𝗵𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗲 is an experimental metal band that was founded in 2013. The group presents sophisticated and aggressive musical textures (utilizing spoken word vocals, violin and extended saxophone techniques) within a progressive post-black metal framework, coupled with sharp political criticism of the historical foundations and current state of postmodern life. They made their debut in 2017 on Code 666 Records with "Speak Not of the Laudanum Quandary", a critique of British imperialism. The follow-up, the critically acclaimed album "Hostile Architecture", was released in July 2022 and was listed as one of the albums of the year in numerous critics' lists. With a far more explicit and direct message of anti-capitalism and advocacy of socialist and anarchist principles, it is a sophisticated listening experience.

𝗠𝗮𝗰𝗵𝘂𝗸𝗵𝗮 [Ukrainian: "stepmother"] cannot be pigeonholed and uses elements of post-black metal, emotional hardcore and punk. The band members come from different musical, social and cultural backgrounds. Through mutual understanding and collaboration, they have developed a creative process that reflects the band's primary goal: to express their shared experiences in order to preserve humanity in a harsh world. Their debut album "Mochari" is about resilience. It explores the human ability to withstand cruelty and continue to survive day after day. Natalya, who sings exclusively in her native Ukrainian language, uses her voice as an outlet for real fears. The band reflects their own journey in their lyrics and music - facing pain and learning to let it go by surrendering to it.

We are delighted to have 𝗪𝗲𝗹𝗸 from Leipzig and Halle as support, who will be celebrating a mix of metal, hardcore and punk. This mixture is sweetened with a dash of melancholy and darkness. For the quintet, music is an expression of feelings and mood and knows no boundaries. So far, 3 EPs and a split have been released and fans have been thrilled both on record and at numerous concerts.
