Here you’ll find the basic knowledge needed to get started in astronomy: navigating the night sky, the nature of celestial objects, how to use various telescopes, the interplay of natural forces in the creation of starlight, and radio astronomy. After the evening theory session, weather permitting, participants will have the opportunity to observe the night sky using the observatory’s telescopes. A Saturday afternoon is dedicated to the topic of “the Sun.”
