Everyday life in global reproductive work: Nadja is a housekeeper for a wealthy family in Greece, while also lovingly looking after the children. She is treated as part of the family and feels like one. Then comes a stroke of fate: Nadja is diagnosed with a serious illness and the family's wealth is eroded by the economic crisis. The master of the Stefanos household gets into financial difficulties - and finally dismisses Nadja. She doesn't let her precarious situation show in these times of social coldness, but the social class differences gradually come to the surface: above or below, at home or away, with or without health insurance, these are the current pairs of opposites.
