A production of the performART course at Alanus University Alfter

The archaic myth of Medea has fascinated authors, composers, painters and theater artists for centuries. It is the stirring love story between Medea and Jason in the context of political entanglements at the end of which five people will be dead. Who is to blame for this disaster? What could be the motives? The production examines the material for its current relevance, draws a line from Euripides to the present day and researches the biographies of the actors on the subject of toxic relationships and women's roles. The ensemble works with Greek chorus, dance, classical drama and documentary theater. A moving evening of theater!
