In the organizer's words:

The Berlin Year of Amateur Music begins with a small sensation, because as we have recently learned, twice as many people make music in their free time in Berlin as in the rest of Germany.

Find out why this is the case, what it means for our urban society and how many more citizens can become part of this second-largest civil society movement after sport at our event.
