In the organizer's words:

This workshop is aimed at anyone who wants to get creative. The aim is to create a unique ring from a simple spoon. First, participants choose a spoon on site (included in the price). Under expert guidance, everyone learns step by step how to work and shape the piece of cutlery and transform it into an individual piece of jewelry. What you can expect:

• Introduction to the tools and techniques of jewelry making
• Choosing a suitable spoon
• Preparation and shortening, filing and bending
• Tips for creative surface treatment and design

At the end, each participant will hold their own handmade and sustainable unique piece in their hands.

Note: please wear non-sensitive clothing or bring an apron!

Age groups: Young people aged 16 and over and adults

Duration: 2 hours

Cost: 39 euros per person, including materials, plus museum admission for all participants aged 18 and over:

Adults pay 8.00 euros, adults in groups of 16 or more pay 7.00 euros, concession holders* pay 4.00 euros. Free admission for children and young people up to the age of 17.

*Those entitled to a discount are "recipients of current benefits in accordance with the German Social Security Codes II and XII", students (up to the age of 30), trainees, those doing federal voluntary service, members of the voluntary social and ecological year, severely disabled people with a degree of disability of 50% or more (if necessary - accompanying person free of charge on presentation of proof). Participation in "Studieren im Alter", "Seniorenstudium" or similar offers does not entitle you to a discount.
