Otto Bohne, a chocolate manufacturer, celebrates his birthday with his family and staff. His sister Maria wants to bring the traditional company onto a fair trade and sustainability course with new ideas. But Otto is skeptical about Maria's overzealous commitment and the future of the company is up in the air. Then Udo Trüffel, a consultant, turns up and is commissioned by the patriarch Bohne to examine the company's processes. His creative methods initially win over Bohne's wife Elvira and sister Maria. But Trüffel quickly shows a different face - he exposes production manager Dorina and denigrates Maria's fair trade strategy. What is he up to and how long can he play his game with the deluded Otto?
