Ausstellung: Du-Ich-Wir – Gemeinsam an einem Strang ziehen

The need for support and the number of legal guardianships are steadily increasing, and legal guardianship is an issue that can affect us all.

The photo exhibition by Hamburg-based photographer Julia Briggs brings to light what is often overlooked in everyday life: people under legal guardianship are just like you and me. You wouldn’t know their life circumstances just by looking at them—yet they frequently face prejudice and exclusion. The exhibition tells their stories and shows that they have their own wishes, goals, and the right to shape their lives on their own terms.

The exhibition, organized by the Hamburg-based guardianship associationZukunftsWerkstatt Generationen e. V. (ZWG), will be on view at the Bücherhalle Billstedt from August 29 through September 30, 2026.
