In the organizer's words:
Urban art meets traditional painting. The works of Joana, or Joefrom.theblock, are created where opposites collide: Urban rhythm meets classic line, reality dissolves into dreams. Using a mixed technique of spray painting and traditional painting, the art student explores the depiction of bodies and faces and breathes an eccentric aesthetic into her works with surreal elements.
Feminine power in complementary contrast. Between reality, collision and dream elements, this exhibition invites questioning and leaves plenty of room for interpretation.
