Ausstellung Schere - Kleber - Papier

The special exhibition "Scissors - Glue - Paper" will move into the Petersberg Museum from 6.6. to 28.6.2026. Everything revolves around historical craft sheets and handmade items made from paper, cardboard and paperboard. From Punch and Judy shows to greeting cards, from dress-up dolls to jumping jacks, paper has always been a popular creative medium. Even for children, the handicrafts and glued items show in a particularly authentic and individual way how people have been creative throughout the ages. On display are mainly originals and replicas from the 20th century. From the collection of the Schmidt family from Aken an der Elbe (most recently: "Christmas Wonderland" 2024, Erzgebirgsspielzeug 2025 in the Petersberg Museum).
