... a ray of sunlight falls through broken windows and makes small clouds of dust dance, rotten steps remind us of the countless feet that have walked up and down them, sometimes happily and quickly, sometimes slowly and deliberately, peeling layers of paint tell anecdotes of times gone by ... If you just stop for a moment, close your eyes and block out the hustle and bustle of everyday life ... then you can hear it: the whispers in the walls, the laughter as well as the tears, the worries and wishes, the hope ... all of this drifts like a breeze through the old rooms and comes back to life for a brief moment.
