Bobby had sex last night. With a dog. Now he's sitting there, in his underwear, trying to have a normal conversation. With black humor and painful frankness, Bobby feels his way through a series of one-night stands in which he finds the only ones who don't judge him, but perhaps only because they can't answer. One bed. One man. Five animals. And five conversations that no one really wants to have.

"Awkward Conversations with Animals I've F*cked" celebrated its premiere at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2014. Consisting of five scenes, the monologue is a character study of the outsider Bobby - and uses bestiality as a hook to explore the themes of loneliness and toxic masculinity. How do people on the fringes of society develop and why is it really no good at all if we simply keep taboo subjects quiet?

Content Note: The play deals with the topics: Sexual violence & assault, loneliness, suicidal thoughts, self-harming behavior, sex with animals. Stroboscope and loud noises & music are used.
