On December 19, the UT Connewitz will be transformed into a laboratory for experimental sound art and visual performance. Three extraordinary artistic positions come together under the title AXS:

Composer Agnese Menguzzato combines Renaissance lute, electronics and contemporary composition to create poetic soundscapes. Modus Pitch develops hybrid architectures between jazz, post-punk and electronic sound research - enhanced by the bassoon as a contrasting acoustic figure. Szary (Modeselektor/Moderat) presents a rare, raw-experimental live set far removed from established club formats.

Video artist Krsn Brasko translates the sounds into visual textures and creates immersive spaces.

AXS renegotiates the boundaries between concert, installation and performance - an evening for open ears and eyes.
