BABYLON EUROPA - European cultural show

An ode to the cultural diversity of Europe. BABYLON EUROPA opens this year's open-air summer onMay 18, 2024 on the covered open-air stage at the ufaFabrik in Berlin .

This is thesecond time thatEUNIC Berlin, the network of European cultural institutes , has hostedthe show here and it will once again be a satellite event as part of the Carnival of Cultures program .

12 artists from different European countries will present a self-developed program that focuses on the individual meaning of "Creative Sparks". With live music, artistry and performance, all artists conceive the show evening together during a three-day rehearsal phase at the ufaFabrik. Once again this year, the Berlin show band The Swag will provide the musical framework for the event.

The audience can expect great live music from Marco Brosolo (Italy), Nedyalko Nedyalkov Quartett (Bulgaria), Stéphane Orlando (Belgium/Wallonie-Brussels), The River Rats (France), Jackie Moontan (Luxembourg), Liz Metta (Austria), Astrid (Slovenia), Luca Kézdy (Hungary), Ana Rocha (Portugal), and Tamara Kramar (Slovakia) .Inka Pehkonen (Finland) provides picturesque acrobatics, while Salamandre (Romania) presents a breathtaking fire performance.
