20 years of Baltic Soul Weekender - a success story!

In 2007, the premiere of the Baltic Soul Weekender revolutionized the German festival landscape with a completely new concept: a festival on the Baltic Sea with fixed accommodation included in the ticket price. This had never been seen before in Germany: the best possible comfort, without any mud or mobile toilets.

An institution was born. The Baltic Soul Weekender quickly became a permanent fixture in the German festival summer. Year after year, international soul, funk and disco legends such as The Temptations, Sister Sledge, Sugarhill Gang, Joy Denalane, Aloe Blacc, STEREO MCs and Incognito conquer the hearts of 5,000 enthusiastic fans. Hand-picked international DJs turn the nights at Weissenhäuser Strand into day. A unique atmosphere of music, community and boundless passion for authentic soul culture is created here.

In 2026, the Baltic Soul Weekender celebrates its 20th anniversary!
Two decades full of unforgettable moments, legendary performances and a community that has long since become a family.
