The Bandstand in HELLERAU is back! On February 28, 2026, we invite you to a delicious antipasti platter full of music in the Festspielhaus and for the first time also in the East Wing:

Brudi Cartell deliver pure energy: synths, heat, drama and a good dose of schmaltz. PARA brings young FLINTA German rap with poppy hooks to the stage. Their beats effortlessly bring personal experiences and social issues to the fore. Las Perras combine punk, cumbia, ska and reggae to create an empowering explosive force - for freedom and multiculturalism. Fuji, on the other hand, are a wild mesh of drums, synths and electronic tinkering. Their sound is like a triple distributor between drum'n'bass, electro and jungle funk - handmade, playful and absolutely danceable. Lucky Loose mix garage, punk and loose rock to create a sound that sounds like they've always been there. But maybe it's simply because it rattles really well. Lohrge serve us bittersweet bubble grunge that sounds like a slightly spilled Aperol Spritz. A dash of post-punk completes the intoxication and makes for a really charming mini-buzz live. Deslin Ami Kaba & Band bring disco-soul-funk with a powerful voice and an even stronger message. Their songs tell of love and identity - and are reminiscent of real disco fever. Night fever, night fever! Sebastian der Saubere mixes bizarre stories, experimental rap and NDW into a stage show full of humor and surprises. Gránátèze stand for garage pop that first glides softly into the ear and then explodes in a wonderfully distorted manner. Their two-part lyrics are sometimes sweet, sometimes quirky, but always honest.

In the supporting program, Max Rademann and Jens Rosemann invite you to a special, intimate vinyl listening and cartoon viewing experience. While the music and pictures are playing, they draw portraits - a unique souvenir to take home. With the help of the cards, Josef Panda provides support with the big and small questions of life with his Trash Tarot. La Rey, otherwise known for empowering hip-hop, will take over the children's disco from 16:00 to 19:00 and get kids moving with beats, rap and good humor.
