Bass Flight: A journey through almost all shades of bass music and back.

The sound of Gentlemens Club pushes boundaries. The British trio is one of the leading representatives of the global bass scene and is always at the forefront of the next wave of low-end sounds with its genre-bending style. Their aim is to explore all shades of bass, from 140 hybrids and drum'n'bass to UKG basslines and far beyond. On every track they can really combine wobbly dubstep drops, hard subs and electrified rhythms with complex melodies and sophisticated sound design - and it always sounds like it couldn't be any other way. Originally founded in 2013 as a pure dubstep act by producers/DJs Coffi, 50Carrot and Soloman, they now jump back and forth between trap hybrids, futuristic basslines, dubstep and bass house to drum'n'bass without regard for pigeonholes.

And because the field of bassy sounds is so large and beautiful, there is support from Deby Cage. The filmmaker, director and DJ is our resident when it comes to bass, beats and everything that goes with it and will be bringing sounds from, between and beyond the usual genres of bass music.

VILIFY laid a solid foundation as founder and resident of one of the longest running and most productive bass music nights in Canada ("Bass Drive Wednesdays") before moving to Berlin in 2014. As a DJ and producer with four albums and numerous singles and EPs to her name, she regularly presents a diverse mix of bass, jungle, experimental, electronica, grime, jazz, drum'n'bass, hip-hop and much more.

It is not without reason thatYunis is difficult to categorize: From surprising trap beats to powerful juke and grime tracks with half-step rhythms that can be both hard and groovy, the beatmaker and producer explores a wide range of styles. Yunis' sound is dynamic and complex, definitely made for the dancing shoes and fires the imagination.

It's all about bass. It's going to be good.
