BATTERIES

The Batteries (ex Batteries of Rock) are only 16 years old and have already won a lot of awards, whether at the Oxmox Music Award 2020 as Best Hamburg Newcomer, at the Band Battle in Buxtehude, at the Song Contest in the Ernst-Deutsch-Theater or the last season of The Voice Kids with Blitzkrieg Bob from the Ramones.
Kolja Reich (guitar, bass, vocals), Noel Timmich (vocals, guitar, bass) and Yuma Wüst (drums, vocals) can do much more than cover rock classics. With astonishingly independent and fresh original compositions like Stop the War or Do something now, they give authentic expression to their anger about wars and the climate crisis.
