...when the BAZZOOKAS get going, everyone dances! The BAZZOOKAS are an extraordinary invention, a musical discovery that has been causing a stir since its foundation in 2009. The mostly eight-piece band has come together to create a nationwide buzz with their powerful sound and infectious energy. In the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and France, they have been mixing up entire festivals such as Parkpop (NL), Pohoda (SK), Sziget (HU), Colours of Ostrava (CZ), Reeperbahnfestival (D), Karlsruher Fest (D), Taubertal Festival (D) and Open Flair (D). With their album "Kaboom!" (2011), the BAZZOOKAS set the bar high for ska. The positive reviews flew around their ears like shooting stars. The live recording of their sensational concert at the sold-out Paradiso in Amsterdam was released as a small work of art under the name "Groeten uit Paradiso" - "Greetings from Paradiso" on DVD and vinyl incl. download code - the document of a ska explosion. Since their album "SKARADIO.NL", the BAZZOOKAS have been singing exclusively in English, which makes it much easier for their fans to sing along at concerts and makes for even more fun! Since 2017, they have released several singles and also like to bring their own mobile stage with their yellow school bus and play their concerts on the bus while the audience stands in front of it.
