Be a king, be a queen - Drag Workshop mit Ruby Tuesday & Vicky Voyage

In the organizer's words:

Come with us into the world of drag art and make your own first experiences in drag. In a relaxed atmosphere and under the guidance of us, the drag artists Ruby Tuesday and Vicky Voyage, you will get to know your drag persona. In three sessions you will learn a lot about drag history, make-up and performance. We will tease your drag character out of you, work with you to find a suitable drag name and help you with your drag debut, because: At the end, on 17.12.2023, you will have the opportunity to put what you have learned into practice and bring your act to the stage for the first time at the newcomer show at Künstlerhaus Kempten!

The workshop runs over the following three dates including the final show
03.12.2023, Sunday, 10 am - 6 pm (1st date)
10.12.2023, Sunday, 10 am - 6 pm (2nd date)
17.12.2023, Sunday, 10 am - 5 pm (3rd date & dress rehearsal)
17.12.2023, Sunday, 7 - 9 pm (show)

Bring list:
> Your own outfit (shoes, wigs, headdresses, dresses, clothes, accessories, beards, tights, paddings, binders, bras, inserts, breasts, etc.),
> Make-up (everything you have at home),
> Make-up mirror and
> Other things (you will receive a detailed packing list approx. 1 week before your first appointment).
If you don't have any of this, don't worry, we will bring a small amount of make-up with us. Just pack everything you think will be useful!

About Vicky Voyage:
Vicky Voyage is always worth a trip. She takes her audience on a varied joyride into the world of drag art. With charisma and wit, she presents sophisticated and clever concepts with extravagant outfits and strong make-up as an international performer, presenter and entertainer. On her stops, Vicky serves up a wide variety of eye candy as a dazzling butterfly, brilliant fire fairy, legendary snow queen and also as a loving local heroine in a dirndl. At galas and parties, in shows and in the theater, and from 2023 also in workshops: Vicky invites the audience to join in and be amazed with pole dancing, a touch of acrobatics or just her plump presence.

About Ruby Tuesday:
Munich child Ruby Tuesday has been performing across Europe as a neo burlesque performer for eleven years. This art form not only allows performers to play with femininity and sensuality in a creative and humorous way, but also to question social norms and blur boundaries. Ruby has become an integral part of the German drag scene, breaking down genre and gender boundaries in line with her motto "I can be whatever I want on stage". Her first Drag King Workshop in 2021 was the birth of the Munich drag king scene.
