Beeindruckende Kunstinstallation „Aquarell“ von Künstler Tomislav Topić in Kooperation mit der Affenfaust Galerie im Westfield HamburgÜberseequartier

From 22 April 2026, Westfield Hamburg-Überseequartier will be presenting an impressive installation by the internationally renowned Berlin artist Tomislav Topić - created in cooperation with Hamburg's Affenfaust Galerie - in the shopping and lifestyle destination. Visitors can now experience the artwork entitled "Aquarell" at any time in the covered part of the quarter in front of Breuninger.

This is the first large-scale art installation to be shown in Westfield Hamburg-Überseequartier since it opened in April 2025. The work "Aquarell" by Tomislav Topić, which is located in the so-called Premium Loop, impresses with its multi-layered play of colors and plays with the viewer's perception while at the same time connecting with the space and its architecture. Topić is known for his abstract, non-representational style - both in gallery format and on monumental walls - and pushes the boundaries of classical art with his visual interpretations. He has created numerous large-scale works in public spaces around the world, including projects in France, Dubai and cities such as Singapore, Beijing, Shanghai and Mumbai. He was also recently represented at the Untitled Art Fair in Miami.

The installation at Westfield Hamburg-Überseequartier is a further step in our collaboration with Tomislav Topić. Parallel to this, the group exhibition Conjunction, in which Tomislav Topić's works play a central role, will be shown at the Affenfaust Galerie from April 24. These two presentations will be linked in time, making his artistic position comprehensively tangible both in the publicly accessible space and in the exhibition context.
