BEER&PAINT

"BEER & PAINT - From cell phone to wall" is a creative evening at KASTEN Leipzig for anyone who wants to capture a moment that means something to them. You bring your favorite photo from your gallery - we provide canvas, paints, brushes and the right atmosphere.

The evening will be hosted by Laura, known to many as the quizmaster of Kasten Quiz.
She is a trained graphic designer and artist and will guide you through the evening in a relaxed manner - with tips, support and an open mind for every idea.

At the beginning, Laura gives a short, easy-to-understand introduction to basic topics such as color effects and simple body and image design - no theory block, but just enough to get you started in a safe and relaxed way.

After this short warm-up together, we start painting.

Without any pressure to perform. Yes, really anyone can paint 😉
Without any claim to perfection.

It's not about copying a photo one-to-one.
It's about translating memories.
In colors, shapes and mood.

You decide for yourself how you work:
close to the motif or completely freely interpreted.
If you like, you can engage in small, voluntary creative impulses in between - for example with reduced colors or simplified shapes.
Anything goes, nothing has to.

Accompanied by music, drinks, snacks and good company, the result is an evening that slows you down - and an image that lasts.
and an image that stays with you.
