Beginners Guide to GVL - mit Lothar Münner und Markus Brechtmann (GVL)

Come to the next Beats & Business armed with all the knowledge you need! On Wednesday, August 26, 2026, we invite you to the “GVL Beginners Guide” at the Haspa branch in Hamburg-Bahrenfeld, followed by Beats & Business as usual.

Lothar Münner and Markus Brechtmann from GVL—the Society for the Administration of Neighboring Rights—will give you an insight into GVL’s work and the rights it manages on your behalf as an artist, label, or self-promoter. They’ll also show you how, as a producer or artist, you can register your repertoire with GVL and how you can benefit from their work. 

Afterward, we’ll head together to Superbude Altona Paradise (about a 4-minute walk) to take part in the networking event for the 7th edition of Beats & Business.

The event is taking place as part of a collaboration between Beats & Business, VUT Nord, and the Hamburg Music Meeting and is aimed at interested individuals from the creative industries who have heard of GVL and would like to learn more about how it operates.
