What began as a small idea is now a labor of love with a big impact: The Behind the Moon Festival is far more than just an electronic music festival. It’s a feel-good day for the whole family, a place filled with music, community, and good vibes—right in the beautiful Spessart region.

We believe that electronic music can bring all generations together. That’s why our festival is designed to be family-friendly—with colorful attractions for kids, relaxed chill zones for parents, and plenty of space to play, explore, and take a deep breath. While the little ones marvel, the grown-ups can dance to a top-notch lineup featuring international headliners, local DJs, and up-and-coming talent from the region. Because we want to give these emerging artists a stage—literally. For many, it’s their first big festival gig—on a professional sound system, alongside real scene legends.
