Julian Bender and Gerhard A. Schiewe follow these perspectives, bringing Brel’s characters back to life: the dreamer, the mocker, the one who realizes things too late. With their voices and accordion, they open up spaces where nothing is smoothed over, but everything rings true.
An evening between tenderness and anger, between melancholy and new beginnings—an evening about us.
