Benefiz Konzert – Schau hin! | GÖRDA, ALMOST TWINS (solo), DAVID LÜBKE und ATKOV (solo)

Violence has many forms and structures. Recognizing it and protecting children and FLINTA* people in particular from it is an individual and social responsibility. On June 28, a benefit concert will take place at NaTo Leipzig for the association "Frauen für Frauen e.V. Leipzig", which is committed to making violence visible and preventing it. The entrance fees and donations collected on the evening of the concert will go directly to the association. For over 35 years, the association has been fighting for equal rights and opportunities for all people, regardless of origin, gender, sexual orientation and other categories of difference. In various fields of activity, the association offers a safe space for those affected, raises awareness of gender-specific structures and forms of violence and connects relevant actors in order to establish support systems.

The concert program of the evening consists of the Leipzig artists GÖRDA, ALMOST TWINS (solo), DAVID LÜBKE and ATKOV (solo):

GÖRDA's sound combines introverted indie pop with danceable grooves, clever lyrics with atmospheric depth. In their multi-instrumental live performances, the two musicians weave vocals, electric bass, flute, synthesizer, cello and beats into an intense interplay.

ALMOST TWINS (solo) produce handmade songs that range from subtle complexity to charming simplicity. A singer-songwriter's dream, reminiscent of Erlend Øye, José Gonzáles or This Is The Kit.

DAVID LÜBKE sings songs that celebrate new beginnings. And which comfort us. Pure and simple, without filters. The singer-songwriter is not looking for coolness, but for closeness. A modern vagabond who takes a sensitive and critical look at our times.

ATKOV also plays a solo set. It will be hard to avoid being drawn into the psychedelic guitar sounds of the Leipzig singer-songwriter, into a world full of musical diversity and euphoria.
