Experience a captivating live lecture in the cozy beach hut at Citybeach Dresden. Extreme sportsman Frank Weisbach talks about his ascent of the 8,163-metre-high Manaslu and gives exclusive insights into his plans for Mount Everest in 2027.

After the successful start on the Muztagh Ata in January, the lecture series is entering its second round!

Frank Weisbach, owner of Citybeach Dresden and passionate extreme sportsman, entered the "death zone" in fall 2024. His goal: the summit of Manaslu (8,163 m) in Nepal - the eighth highest mountain on earth.

On this evening, Frank will take you on a journey that goes far beyond the realms of sport. Find out up close and personal: How do you prepare for the extremely thin air? What does it mean to fight the last few meters with an oxygen mask? Frank talks about the growing commercialization on the mountain and why the "roof of the world" is now a logistical masterpiece.

This evening is not just for mountaineers, but for everyone who is enthusiastic about motivation, borderline experiences and gripping travel reports. You will also be one of the first to find out more about Frank's next big goal: climbing Mount Everest in spring 2027.
